I know I did absolutely horrible in my diet this week. Hell, this whole month has been pretty much crap. I'm at the breaking point right now. I'm ready to just go back to my old ways. It's becoming more and more of a fight each and every day. I really have to fight the temptation. And so far, I'm losing. I'm letting it get control of me.

In order for me to start getting motivated again, I am now measuring my waist, chest and neck to see if any progress is being made. The fact that I don't really see progress is the thing bothering me the most. I know there is progress since I dropped down a shirt size (from XXL to XL) and my belt is able to go to another notch or two. But when I look in the mirror I still see the same old me. It's frustrating for me not being able to actually "see" results.

I'm 9 weeks into this and I started at 258 and I'm now at 232. That's 26 lbs. I've lost. That's losing almost 3 lbs. a week. I think that's a healthy rate. But I'm fighting to keep this up. Old habits die hard....
