Saturday was pretty bad for me, in what I ate. It is now football (pre)season and we tailgate every game. And I usually cook the food so I smell everything and I decided to splurge a little this time. I ate almost 2 days worth of food. Hahahaha. But it felt really good. It's the most wonderful time of the year. And eating makes me happy.

So since my first weigh in and up until now, I have lost a whopping 14 lbs. That's pretty darn good if you ask me. I have noticed that my belt can make it to the next notch and some of my friends who I don't see on a regular basis are noticing that my face doesn't look as rounded as it once was, even though it's still very round. Ha. Even my Mom says that my belly isn't as big as it was.

I still have a long way to go but I'm feeling better about myself these days. Baby steps.

drop the sugar and fat. Honestly i a am amazed at what you eat and how you can say you 'used to' eat junkfood. Stay away from the burgers, the chocolate bars and the chips. Eat a cucumber instead. Or 3 if one won't do. I don't know how tall you are but i bet you lose a lot more than the 14 pounds you lost sofar.
Good luck! (and i really mean that :)

thanks for the tips. i'm trying to change what i eat but mentally it's pretty tough to maintain. my eyes are greedier than my stomach and my nose is just as bad. when i can smell the food of the people around me it makes me want to join them. but i am trying to change what i eat. i'm taking baby steps to a somewhat healthier lifestyle.

thank you for stopping by.
